You can bet that sometimes what a person needs to really see how the actual test would go is a DAT practice test. The American Dental Association, ADA, offers a full-length DAT practice test ready to take from home. Since the DAT is issued and created from the ADA, there’s no better place to help you with your practice.

The Princeton Review.
This source offers a free DAT practice test that can be taken without any kind of pressure or obligation. You will be required to register with them and sign up online to take the test. But this is nothing compared to the quality of the online practice test they provide. They also provide you with a detailed score for each section of the DAT practice test.
DATPrep.
This is one heavily recommended site to help you with your preparation. DATPrep, offers access to 3000 questions and 18 different subject exams along with 15 full length exams. You will have access to PAT generators, biology videos and chemistry videos.
We recommend this service along with some extra help for the PAT section of the DAT. For that we give you PATCrusher. This site specializes and focuses on the PAT as the name says and the average score of dental students using is of 23 in a range from 0 to 30.
We recommend these services simply because they offer the best quality for your preparation. While these are not free like the other sources, they are simply superior in quality. After all, isn’t getting the best quality and thus the best result what matters?

While there are many sources from where to get a free DAT practice test. You have to be careful when it comes to deciding if you want something for free or you want the best quality you can get.
However, there’s no rule that says you can’t try different services. You can mix free DAT practice test and paid ones to see how you fare at each. In the end you also need to worry about the quality of your preparation course and that is something you don’t want to skimp on.
Our practice tests are the most representative of the real DAT. Bootcamp's practice tests are famous for being uncannily representative of the real DAT.
No question we ask on DAT Bootcamp is harder than something you could see on the real test. But we have fewer easy questions than the real DAT, which overall makes our tests slightly more challenging. Ultimately, the scores you get on your practice tests don't mean anything.
Take two or three real-time simulated practice tests—this is the best way to most accurately replicate the conditions you will experience on test day. Avoid spending excessive time memorizing small details. The DAT tests critical thinking and application, not restating facts.
Some programs consider a score of 18 or higher to be competitive while others prefer applicants with a score of 20 or higher. To be most competitive for dental school admission, we advise students to aim for a score of 20 or higher in each section of the DAT.
You'll get a score for each of these sections on a scale from 1 to 30. A scale score of 18 usually means average performance on a national basis. Scores of 22+ usually mean top 90th percentile performance and are very competitive.
Ah, the elusive perfect DAT score. In short, a perfect overall score on the DAT is 30, but to the best of our knowledge, no one has ever achieved a perfect score.
Some feel that the Quantitative Reasoning is the most difficult section, due to the fact that it is the last section on the test, and by that point you feel fatigued from all of the chemistry, biology and perceptual ability questions you've already answered.
How Many Questions Do I Need To Answer Correctly To Get a 20? Generally speaking, you can only miss around 5-6 questions in each of the science and math sections to score a 20. Scores of over 23 are very rare (98th percentile and up). You can miss around 20 questions in the perceptual test to score a 20.
This is just an average though, a quick look at the ADEA Guide to Dental Schools shows that students get accepted with lower scores as well! A good score is 20 AA and should be most students' goal. Scores of 23+ AA are rare and exceptionally competitive.

The average DAT score for any section is approximately 19/30; the average AA for admissions is usually 18-21 depending on the dental school; the AA for admissions to Harvard is around 23-24; the 100th percentile is usually 25 meaning that virtually 100% of the approximately 13 000 students who take the DAT every year ...
